Hello,

PREOPERATIVE DIAGNOSES: Post-laminectomy syndrome

POSTOPERATIVE DIAGNOSES: Post-laminectomy syndrome

PROCEDURE PERFORMED: Revision laminectomy, right L3-L4
INDICATIONS FOR PROCEDURE: This is a 76-year-old man who I had previously done
surgery on in the past. He did well and then developed recurrent symptoms on
the right, was found to have foraminal and lateral recess stenosis at L3-L4.

What would be the CPT coded for this case when Physician is doing revision decompression?
There is no discectomy performed and body of the op report supports only lateral recess decompression.

Thanks,
Swapna.
