Would J189 Pneumonia be a more appropriate pdx or J84.10 - Pulmonary fibrosis, unspecified? Pneumonia is an acute condition treated with antibiotics, however, pulmonary fibrosis has a higher weight.

Does the term "pulmonary fibrosis" appear anywhere in the documentation--problem list, history, current diagnosis? If not, then no. You have to code what's documented.
