The doctor is doing an ORIF distal radius fracture using a plate. He uses the fluoroscopy to guide and check the placement of the plate/pins. Can I bill for the fluoroscopy? If so, what code(s) would you recommend?

No, you probably cannot code for fluoro. The main reason is that there is no professional service your surgeon provided; there is no separate or even distinct report. Too, fluoro is considered part of the service and would not be reported or reimbursed separately. It is standard medical practice for physicians to utilize fluoro with these services.
