I need assistance in what code I should use. Doc did excision of exostosis and ganglion in same incision of the foot. Doc said the reason for doing the procedure was for the exostosis, not the ganglion. The ganglion was incidental. What code should I use- cpt 28090 for ganlion which pays a higher rate or the 28126 for the exostosis? I appreciate any information.
