This is not a coding question but I am just looking for some insight on a certified coders salary. I work for a RHC clinic in Lauderdale County Tennessee. We have 9 facilities in which I do the coding for 5 of those. I have to check the rejects for all 9 and batch claims and statements for all 9. Is the salary that is on Payscale.com for a CPC working for one facility? Does anyone else code for more than one facility?
 
Did you check out the coding salary survey on AAPC? According to the survey, the average salary in your area is around $44K.

It varies by the work you do, your education level, the size of your organization and years experience.

The survey is located on the AAPC website under "Resources/Research/Medical Coding Salary.
