Hi all,

A few colleges and myself are in the process of starting our own coding and reimbursment business. We have great experiance in coding many differant specialties, and we are ready to get to work. Before we get any farther I would like to ask my fellow AAPC members for any suggestions they may have. We are facing the hardest part now, generating the clientel, and to say the least are not doing such a great job. Any advice would be helpfull. Thank you in advance.

I can relate. I believe the best way is to approach providers you may have done work for in the past, that know your work ethic. Once you have 1 client word of mouth will be the best advertiser. It's just getting that first one!
 
Thank you for the advice. Of the professionals I have talked to that seems to be the most recurrant theme. Good luck with your prospects.
