I'm coding for Neonatology. The provider documented on the delivery attendance note that they were consulted for suspected coarctation of the aorta (Q25.1) for a newborn. Is this code billable and specific? Infant was assessed but did not require advanced resuscitation, improved color, spontaneous cry and appropriate tone. Was admitted to the NICU for further treatment; other than delayed cord clamping for 60 seconds no issues.
