How would you code when a patient has been in the hospital for a few days, then discharged from the hospital and schedules an office visit with the same provider that they saw the patient at the hospital?
 
One E&M per day so its a different day its established patient E&M, unless its part of the global post op where you could report the non payable (reporting purposes only ) 99024 (Post op E&M in global period)
