Patient presents with burning with urination and hematuria. Labs show hematuria with trace leukocytes and patient is symptomatic. Provider makes no mention of acute cystitis and is treating for UTI. They coded the chart with N39 for the UTI and R31.9 for the hematuria. Can these two diagnosis be coded together or is there a combo code that I should use. I can't find a combo code beside N30.1 but I am apprehensive to use it because the provider doesn't indicated any acute cystitis in the chart.
