Can someone tell me how to bill Medicaid for an OV for patients under 18 yrs that the Dept of Children and Families sends to my doctor in FL for an Exam within 72 hours of DCF care. These children are brought in by their foster parent(s) within 72 hours per DCF for an exam. Sometimes these children are sent back for these exams 2-3 times per month. Each time the caregiver is changed, DCF requires a brief medical exam to check for abuse/life threatening illness, etc. This is not a well visit.
