My physician performed an outpt colonoscopy at an ASC in the am and during recovery period patient developed abd pain and the physician was in the office seeing patient's so he had the patient come to the office to evaluate him. Can I charge for both the outpt colon and the office visit? If so does the office visit require a modifier and if so would I use the 25 modifier?
Thanks for any help anyone can give me!
