If a polyp is removed with a Eleview injection lift technique using a hot snare, should it be billed with CPT 45381 or CPT 45390? The provider removed 2 from transverse colon and 1from ascending colon. Would it be appropriate to bill 1 unit without modifier and then one with a XS modifier? Or would it be more accurate to bill with just 1 unit?
 
sounds like you have 45385 + 45381 only.
Both 45381 and 45385 should be reported for colonoscopy with submucosal injection and snare polypectomy.
