Please help me understand if this is S42.292A as in other displaced fx of upper end of left humerus (as in specified as comminuted since there is no specific code of comminuted left proximal humerus fx); or it is S42.202A UNSPECIFIED? Does the mention of comminution mean it IS specified but not classified? TIA

It goes back to the definition of "other" vs. "unspecified" codes in the Section 1. A. Conventions #9.
The medical record has enough detail, there just isn't a specific code for it so you use other or other specified.
