Questioning whether this pancreas documentation supports it being counted toward a complete abdomen ultrasound. I feel if it is only partially seen it should at least say what they saw like they did with the aorta…appears normal, unremarkable, etc (not just that it was partially seen) to be counted but have been unsuccessful thus far finding anything in writing. Anyone have any info on this situation?

FINDINGS: The aorta is not completely visualized but where visualized is grossly normal in caliber. The visualized IVC is patent. The visualized portal vein is patent and demonstrates flow into the liver. The pancreas is partially visualized. The liver measures 15.3 cm for the gallbladder is surgically absent. The common bile duct is normal in size measuring 4 mm. No intrahepatic biliary ductal dilation is seen. The right and left kidney measure 11 and 11.3 cm. The spleen measures 12.1 cm. No ascites is noted.
