Wiki Complete mastectomy following partial

The patient had 2 partial mastectomies, after each partial the margins were not clear and ultimately the decision was made to do the total mastectomy.

Can you bill a complete simple complete mastectomy after the patient has had 2 partial mastectomies on the same breast? Or would you bill another partial?

Any advice? Thoughts?

you can bill the total mastectomy 19303 if procedure was done same day, chances are that partial are not paid by insurance, if done afterwards bill same with mod 58.
