My family practice doctor does complete physicals that include a
45300 Proctosigmoidoscopy
93000 EKG
8227 Occult Blood
81001 Urinalysis

Sometimes our EKG's do not get paid because it is included in the global fee of the proctosigmoidoscopy.

Any advice would be appreciated. I do not understand why the EKG is included in the gobal fee, but the other procedures are not.
