MD did a complex repair on a continuous laceration that was across the forehead and extended down the side of the scalp. Since forehead and scalp fall under two different complex repair codes would you just code the total length of the forehead and the total length of the scalp separately?? Does it matter that it was one continuous repair?? Thanks!!
