Provider performed complex repair of a laceration that starts at the forehead and goes across the eyelid. We have conflicting opinions on whether this should be coded as one repair or 2 separate codes due to the fact that it affects 2 anatomical sites, the forehead and the upper eyelid.

I don't have a reference handy to back this up, but I would code it as a single closure, using the body region where the majority of the wound was located. If it's a single procedure on one wound, then in my opinion it would not be correct to code it as two separate procedures.
