Just how "trustworthy" is this program? In general, I've become a bit wary of some of these programs and realize a solid coding/blling knowledge background is one's best asset. However, would appreciate some input as to their usefulness.
THE TEST: I input one line CPT code 64612 with modifier 50 (Bilateral surgery indicator = 1), and 2nd line with 64613 (no modifier due to bilateral payment indicator = 2) and this Palmetto MCR claim was flagged with modifier edits? Verified the dx code thru the Palmetto website along proper billing submission and came up against this. Am I in error, or software glitch?
