Our surgeons have begun to do what they call component seperation procedures during a ventral hernia repair. We have used an unlisted code to bill this service. I am wondering if anyone else can tell me how you have handled billing this abdominal surgery. It is usually very extensive surgery and takes a great deal of time. Thanks for your help with this.
