The 2014 CPT Book contains verbage that is misleading to me regarding the Comprehensive Exam.
CPT 2014 states "Comprehensive: A general multisystem examination OR complete examination of a signle organ system"

Does this mean that if the physician performs a complete and thorough examination of a single organ system then we can mark the exam part as comprehensive?

Thanks!

A complete multi system exam would be 8 systems according to the 1995 documentation guidelines. For a complete single system exam you need to look at the 1997 documentation guidelines.
