I have a situation where there were two C-sections done concurrently. There were two anesthesia providers working at that time, one was an anesthesiologist, the other a CRNA. The first case was done by Anesthesiologist without a CRNA. The CRNA did the second case, and had the anesthesiologist recorded as the supervising MDA.

I don't think an anesthesiologist can supervise/medically direct CRNA's on other cases when he/she already directly providing anesthesia for a patient.

Please help!
