doc did a lateral tarsal strip suspension 67917, on the left lower eyelid, and a bilateral lower eyelid conjuntivoplasty. He also created a new canthal angle . my question is: is the canthopexy included in the lateral tarsal strip, and can I charge for the conjunctivoplasty as he removed 4x8mm diamond of conjunctiva to reapproximate the punctum, prior to doing the lateral strip on the one side. Thanks :)
 
The procedure code 67917 is a component code for the canthoplasty 67950 and correction of everted punctum, cautery 68705. So follow the procedure and bill the primary procedure which you feel comfortable. If you still want to code the other two, use 59 modifiere and bill all of them.
