ORIF of clavicle was done for fracture (23515) - - patient also had a Conoid Ligament Tear - Unlisted and compare to 23550?
op reads: (after plating of clavicle) Subsequently, in one of the more medial holes of the plate that I had not used for the placing a bone screw, I drilled a hole and connected that hole with an anteriorly drill hole and then I used a Kessler type grasping suture of #2 Fiberwire on the conoid ligament. I brought the ends of the suture up through the hole in the plate and the bone, this very firmly, nicely reapproximated the conoid ligament to the bone of the anterior aspect of the clavicle. Subsequently, utilizing an Arthrex Dog Bone plate suture holder,I brought that down over the 2 ends of the suture and fixed it into the plate and tied the suture with surgical knots.
