Hi,

I have a concern regarding the "DURATION" component/factor in the HPI. Any help would be grateful!

Whenever a patient visits the physician and if the DOS and DOI are same. So, in this case can we go ahead and consider the date of injury as "DURATION"?
If Yes, How and If No, why?

The above mentioned question is for E&M visit. Will the scenario be same with ED?

Not really

My definition of duration is how long has the patient had the problem. If the problem started today, was it since this morning? 30 minutes ago? The DOI would be considered TIME in my opinion.
