I am looking for some information on the requirements for pediatricians who bill consultations in the outpatient setting (i.e. office). We currently do not bill any consults, but have a new provider who would like to begin billing for consultations. I would like to network with an experienced person who is familiar with this process. Thank you!
 
As far as i know at least in florida medicaid does not pay for this services you can still bill them but you will not get paid i know a lot of pediatrics practices and they have never bill for this services since there is no pay back from the payers.
