I'm having a bit of a dilemma, I have a patient that is within her global period for an ankle ORIF, she was discharged and later returned to the ER with a separate problem. While she was admitted she requested her post op visit to be done for her ankle. Is there a code to use for that type of service or is it just considered a post op visit? thank for your help!
