My doctor went to perform a consult on a patient at a rehab facility and while she was speaking with the attending physician (45 mis later) the patient fled the facility. My doctor is wanting to still bill a consult for this but I don't see how. She never spoke with the patient or the patients family. Is there any way or CPT code out there that I can bill for this that anyone knows of? I appreciate the help
