I have just received a notice from Excellus BCBS of Rochester that BCBS will continue to reimburse consultation codes for all commercial lines of business as well as for government programs, however, for Medicare Advantage, effective April 1st, 2010 they will follow CMS rule and will no longer pay for consultation codes. Contact BCBS of Rochester if you have any questions.
