What code should be used for consultations done at the hospital, that is covered by medicare?

It depends on the service but either initial or subsequent hospital codes are the ones to be used for Medicare

If it is an inpatient Medicare consult, look at cpt 99221-99223 depending on the level. If it is an outpt Medicare consult, look at your new pt or est pt codes.
