I am new to the inpatient mental health world. We just opened an ancillary clinic for our clients. This clinic includes Podiatry, Cardiology, OB/GYN, & Ophthamology.
If the physican sees the client would this be coded using Inpatient Consultation Codes 99251 - 99255? Or are these just considered Subsequent Inpatient Visits?
