My provider is seeing a patient that has an abscess that is quite extensive, requiring IV therapy and daily repacking. I & D 10061 I billed out 12/03/2012 the patient has came in everyday except Sunday and had the wound repacked. She seen the provider on call on Saturday and the providers feel that she should be billed out for the ov. Suggestions?
The 10061 is a 10 day global, but according to the pcp that should not come into play...
