Hi wonderful AAPC Members -

I am looking for feedback and information on setting up a small Nutrition Practice (5-6 Registered Dieticians) with credentialing and contracting with a few health plans.

Are there companies or individuals that would be interested in taking on this work for us?

Do Registered Dieticians get reimbursed easily by health plans for the codes they bill or is it a constant struggle?

Do health insurance plans communicate well with small group practices?

Does anyone have a provider services contact at Cigna that they can share?

Any information is appreciated.
