My GI docs think that it is okay to code 45382 whenever they use an endoclip if they remove a polyp and the site bleeds. The documentation may say something like "two sessile polyps were excised by hot snare and retrieved. Endoclips placed". Thoughts?
 
Correct.... if the bleed is caused by the removal of the polyp... you cannot
charge for the control of bleed... only polyp removal.
