My provider performed a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy. As he was lifting the gallbladder off the liver bed, he noticed a small vein bleeding significantly. He attempted to control the bleed by Electrocautery, endo stich and pressure with the Kidner. He finally placed 3 clips to control the bleed. Can I bill for this seperately from the Lap Chole?
