I have had a handful of patients question their copay during the pandemic. Mostly Humana and UHC patients. I work for a Dermatology practice. As far as I know copays are required for specialist, because we are not seeing the patient for anything related to COVID-19. Has any one else ran into this issue?

We are pain specialists. We also answer the same questions. "The information we have been given is that your copay is waived if you are seeing someone for treatment or testing for the virus. We are not seeing you for that, so your $$ copay needs to be paid today. If you have any questions, you can call member services on your insurance card."
