Wiki Correct coding for rehabilitation post surgery

Can someone please clarify the correct code to use for rehabilitation post surgery from a right femur fracture – surgery was Right Hip Cephalomedullary Nail. Patient also sustained a C6-C7 neck fracture which is unstable. Patient must wear a hard collar at all times. Patient was transferred to a SNF within 40 hours of surgery

The code used was Z47.89 Encounter for other orthopedic aftercare.

Read the guidelines for rehab. You should not use aftercare Z code for trauma. You use the trauma code with the appropriate 7th character for subsequent encounter or sequels.
