Hi, I have a general surgeon who performed Tarsorraphy (67882), excision and repair of the eyelid (67961).
The opeartive report states: The skin flap was elevated. A small Mersilene suture was placed between the lateral canthal tendon, and the periosteum of the lateral lower lid.
Therfore, a small wedge of the lateral lower lid was excised, (he used CPT 11044) according to the technique of Kuhnt-Szymanowski, I coded (15820).
The conjunctiva was repaired which is the (67961). The Tarsus was repaired (67882).
Did I miss something? Should I be coding for the blepharoplasty in this case?
