Hello - I'm hoping someone has some information that can help. I'm helping a client research how to bill court ordered drug testing to TX Medicaid. We determined that TX Medicaid uses 'H9' modifier to identify court ordered testing but when I called TX Medicaid to find out the questions below, nobody seemed to know.
1. Is a copy of the court order required when using the H9 modifier?
2. Since this is coming from a behavioral health center, does the requisition form need the provider's signature?

Any help would be great. Thank you!
