Good afternoon I was looking for some help. My office is doing the COVID antibody testing CPT 86328 and I was able to get reimbursement information for Medicare however if the patient is not Medicare I have heard we would submit to the government. Does anyone have any insite on this? We are only in network with Medicare not any commercial plans so the patient may not have out of network benefits so I am unsure how we would get reimbursed. Or if, lets say the patient has no insurance at all.
Also is there a frequency on how often you can do antibody testing for Medicare and other carriers? My docs would like to retest positive antibody patients a few times to see how the antibodies are staying in the system.
