Hello I would like to know if someone else is getting denials regarding covid bivalent vaccine administration, as far as I know since august 31st 2022 the new bivalent codes are effective and in our clinic in Houston Tx we are given moderna and pfizer bivalent boosters (the codes we use to report administration of the vaccine are 0124A for bivalent pfizer and 0134A for bivalent moderna) but currently some insurances are still deniying this service like Cignahealthspring medicare and UHC wellmed medicare, in those cases what we can do? is it possible they have not updated their fee schedule on their billing system? the rest of the insurances we are in network are paying with no issues this service.
