Wiki Covid Vaccine Coding Help

Hi All,

Wondering if I might be able to get your input here, I'm not finding may resources online for the most up to date coding of covid vaccines and the administration of them. We are offering the spikevax option, from what I can find in out CPT 2024 code books, utilizing Appendix Q. 91301 should be used for the administration and 0011A for the first dose. A search of the vaccine producers website shows to use 90480(google says this too) I can not find this code anywhere in the book, my coworkers doubt and my still newness to the job has me feeling like a little reassurance could be helpful if I am correct and some direction if I'm incorrect would be GREATLY appreciated. So based on the information I have, NDC, units, etc I'm inclined to use what the book has listed for us,

We ended up going with 90480 and 91322.

I just can't wrap my head around why we have these specified codes in out CPT books for these vaccines and instructions for the admission code by the book yet none of the companies use these specified codes in their fee schedules!

i know its very frustrating! 90480 i believe the newest admin cpt
