Can anyone tell me or help me find information on what can be used to take CPB exam? I have the study guide but didn't know if that was allowed to use in the exam.

No study guides are allowed for any of the AAPC exams.

For the CPB, you can take the following 3 books: the ICD-10 manual, CPT manual, and HCPC manual.

BTW - the approved resources list for all AAPC certification exams can be found on the Exam FAQ link. Under the question "what items will I need to bring to the exam?" there is a link for Approved Resources. The list of books is on the 2nd page of that document.

 
Thank you very much. I did read the link but wasn't sure if that was for the CPB exam as well or just the CPC.
Another question: are we able to write notes in those books like we were for the CPC?
