I graduated from Sanford-Brown Institute's Medical Billing and Coding Program with a 3.88 GPA. I have been trying to find an externship or actual position ever since. I am registered with all the job sites, and several temp agencies. I have contacted several Project Xtern sites several times, and gotten no response. I have volunteered in the HIM Office at Washington Hospital Center, and I am currently volunteering in the gift shop (all that was available at the time) at Laurel Regional Hospital. Can someone please give me some help other than "Temp Agency?" That's all I have been hearing, and as I said, it hasn't helped.
