Both the Minneapolis and the St Paul local chapters are very active. I think you could get some excellent networking opportunities through one or both chapters! Once you relocate, I'd definitely recommend you get involved.

Minnesota chapters host a lot of events - they even coordinate a statewide Minnesota conference for AAPC members every November.

There are a lot of AAPC icons who are involved in Minnesota chapters...Ruby Woodward, Deni Adams...I'm probably forgetting others too. (I don't always remember where everyone is from, but I know those 2 specifically are from Minnesota.)
