I passed my CPC exam in February of 2024 and got my A removed last month. I also have a Bachelors degree in Health Sciences so I have additional medical knowledge. I have worked as a receptionist/patient access representative for 3 years and I am still not having any luck finding a job. I see where most people have luck with local hospitals in their area but the ones near me use outsourced companies for their billing and coding. I know I have applied to well over 100 jobs in person/hybrid/remote. I'm starting to get discouraged and thinking about going back to school for something hands on but I want that to be my last resort. Does anyone have any other tips or advice?
