I am a recent college graduate (for the second time) of both the Medical Transcription and the Medical Coding and Insurance programs. I took the CPC exam immediately after graduating and received my certification. I had enough course coding hours to have the apprentice status removed.

I am familiar with ICD-10, as we started with ICD-10 in school. We worked on it for the first 2 semesters and then switched back to ICD-9 because ICD-10 wasn't implemented as soon as it was scheduled. I will be taking the formal training on ICD-10 as soon as possible.

I am a single parent of three starting over and feel that dedication to a career is a requirement, not an option. I am working for a very flexible company at this time. Because I have an income I am willing to work on a temporary, part time, or full time basis.

I am looking forward to starting my career with whatever company gives me the chance to prove that I will be a valuable asset to their organization.

Thank you for your time and consideration! My resume is attached.

Sincerely,
Dawn N Hutmacher, CPC
