Wiki CPC training and medical billing training

I am strongly considering to get certified for CPC, do you recommend to get trained on the medical billing too?

Do you have a medical background or experience in something related? If so getting your CPC would be good. Keep in mind that without some form of medical or insurance background getting a position will be much more difficult.
