Ob/gyn any code to indicate "not seen"

I work for OB/GYN and sometimes he is called out of the office for deliveries after the patient has checked in and paid copay, etc. The patient must reschedule and choses to leave copay as credit for next appt (usually a credit card payment). Is there a code to enter as "no charge" or "not seen" so that the cc payment can be posted to a "zero claim".....maybe a code reflecting "patient was not seen"?

There's not an official CPT code, but your database manager should be able to add one for you to your system. No need to bill the insurance carrier, so you should be able to set this up based on your personal posting preference.
