I took CPCO exam last week without course . I did buy mock test from AAPC which was useful also tagged my OIG Compliance plans and made a cheat sheet to reach my answer asap. You also have to buy Physicians Practice book......pls note ..what ever is not written in OIG Compliance , create a cheat sheet for those topics such as Audit organizations, EMATAL, OSHA , Enforcement laws , federal and state regulations . Not sure what will be outcome of my test but CPCO is easy if you know where to refer back and what notes need to be created .
